Traditional day centres aren’t always suitable for everyone across Godalming, Haslemere, and the surrounding areas – that’s why we bring personalised day care to you at home. Our service offers a perfect mix of companionship, activities and support throughout the day, tailored to your interests and routines. Since 2018, we’ve helped local residents stay active and engaged in their own homes, whether that’s through shared hobbies, trips out, or gentle exercise. Our home day care visits last at least an hour, giving plenty of time to focus on what matters to you.

Our Care Professionals, many of whom can drive, love taking clients to local spots like Winkworth Arboretum or helping them continue interests at home. For those living with dementia, we include reminiscence activities that spark conversations and memories. Some clients benefit from rehabilitative exercises recommended by their physiotherapist or occupational therapist, while others simply enjoy good company and conversation. The choice of activities always follows your preferences.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. “Home Instead have been caring for my father for 18 months now. The staff and caregivers are always friendly and efficient and make an effort to engage my Dad in a conversation around a subject they know he enjoys. They have brought in their own books and go that little bit further with the service provided,” shared one family member on homecare.co.uk. Another noted how their loved one “looks forward to their visits,” highlighting how our personalised approach makes each day special. These reviews reflect our commitment to creating meaningful connections and enjoyable days for our clients.
