Looking at a few of the beautiful places to visit in surrey, we are so fortunate to have these local spots right in our door step.
Wisley Gardens
Beautiful gardens, glasshouse with different climatic zones, learning spaces, butterfly house and a growing lab- Wisley Gardens is a fantastic place to visit for the day or even a couple of hours! There is a café available with all sorts of yummy treats, hot lunches and of course tea and coffee. Plenty of disabled access available. Explore the exotic garden, world food garden and the wellbeing garden. During the year they hold different events such as stunning light displays over the Christmas period. Different easter activities and even more amazing flowers during spring months. The opening times may vary so have a look on the website. Plan your visit as well and view all the ticket prices. Newlands Corner
I really love going up to Newlands Corner whatever the weather. With fantastic walks for miles and plenty of woodland to explore. Newlands has a beautiful viewpoint with plenty of parking if you don’t want to get out and walk! Sometimes just parking up and getting a delicious hot chocolate from the café is just all you need. During the summer months it’s the perfect place for a picnic with a large grassy area. My friends and I really enjoy popping up to Newlands with a picnic blanket and yummy treats. The opening hours are Monday- Saturday 9:30am – 5:00pm and on Sundays 9:30am – 4:00pm.
