Sheena's mother lived with Alzheimer's Disease and her father with Vascular Dementia, both required daily support from a team of carers. This experience was the driving force behind her decision to open a Home Instead office of her own.

Before joining in April 2021 Karen worked in Sales, Marketing and Advertising. After chatting to a friend who already worked for Home Instead, Karen decided to take a completely different career path and joined Home Instead as a Care Professional.

Mel's role is Field Care Supervisor, supporting the Care Professionals in delivering quality care to the Home Instead clients and assisting the Care Professionals through their Home Instead career development and training. Mel holds a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.

Andy has 20 years of experience working with adults with learning disabilities and has completed his NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health & Social Care. He also spent 4 years working in administration and sales in the manufacturing industry.

Tom spends most of his time as a scientist at the University of Cambridge, but is on hand to help with any administrative tasks in the office. His role ranges from medication audits to quality assurance checks, allowing for the best quality home care possible.
