Home Instead hosts Harrogate Beetle Drive

The team at Home Instead recently visited Harrogate assisted living facility The Adelphi to host a beetle drive game and coffee morning.  After the successful arts and craft morning last month, the group opted for a game of beetle drive.
Beetle drive is an old favourite and only requires paper, pencil and dice . The aim of the game is to be the first player to draw a complete beetle with a throw of the dice.
Great fun was had at the Adelphi playing the game , meeting and chatting to people over a cup of coffee and plenty of cake !

The team at Home Instead Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk love to get out and about in the local community supporting organisations for older people.  Keeping active and socially engaged is important for us all but especially so as we get older and it helps to alleviate and isolation, keeping us young at heart with life in our years rather than years in our life!
