Heather and Jane from the Home Instead team in Harrogate recently hosted a lovely autumn themed craft session at the Adelphi retirement housing in Harrogate. Here, beautiful colourful autumn wreaths were created, and Heather kindly provided homemade cakes to be enjoyed. These craft sessions are a regular event where residents can get together, socialise, and at the same time get creative and crafty! We cannot wait to host more regular events towards the Halloween period with lots of tea, coffee and seasonal activities.
Keeping active not only physically but also socially and intellectually is so important as we get older and these craft sessions are a brilliant activity to do together.
