The Pack Horse Inn is a traditional country pub in the heart of the High Peak in New Mills. With its rustic charm, traditional wood-panelled bars, and log fireplaces, it offers a warm environment for you and your ageing adult to enjoy a wholesome autumn afternoon. The Beehive Inn is another lovely pub to take your loved one. With a food specials board showcasing seasonal and fresh produce, their meals are guaranteed to impress and provide you and your loved one with a great dining experience. With roaring log fires in the cooler months, after a day of exploration in the nearby scenic trails of Combs, you can warm up by the fire and indulge in a bite to eat, perfectly complemented by a hot drink or a snooze on the armchair!
Open from 9.00am – 11.00pm all week, they serve a great selection of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and sweet treats for you and your loved one to enjoy throughout the day. Another lovely pub to visit is The Lamb Inn, which is an 18th Century pub located just off the A624 halfway between Chinley and Hayfield. Their menu consists of hearty pub classics and their daily changing menu, showcases fresh and local produce, guaranteeing a delicious meal.
They are open from Monday to Friday with two convenient time slots: 12.00pm to 3.00pm for lunch and 5.00pm onwards for dinner. On Saturdays, food is served from 12.00pm until 9.00pm and on Sundays, food is served from 12.00pm until 8.00pm. The Old Hall Inn and Paper Mill Inn are two charming and vibrant country inns located directly next to each other, in the picturesque hamlet of Whitehough. Each with their own distinctive seasonal food & drink offers, you are guaranteed to enjoy a tasty meal by their crackling fires! Each provide a wide range of food such as hand stretched pizza, fresh pies and regular pop-up kitchens offering different cuisine from around the world.
The Paper Mill Inn serves food on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and their full list of food serving hours can be found on their website. The Old Hall Inn serves food on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with their full serving hours also online. The Red Lion on High Lane is a charming restaurant pub offering traditional British dishes and vintage bar snacks.
