Home Instead receives nine nominations in prestigious care awards

The Home Care Awards has shortlisted Home Instead a whopping nine times, recognising its commitment to providing clients with quality care and giving Care Professionals a supportive place to work.

Celebrating the very best of the sector, the Home Care Awards acknowledges the innovation shown by companies keeping people safe and well at home, from employee engagement initiatives to new specialist care.

Home Instead UK’s national office is nominated for:

  • Training and staff development expertise: over the past 12 months, Home Instead has transformed its training programme to best reflect the scenarios that care professionals typically support clients in, while also widening their skillsets to complement the services of the NHS.
  • Most outstanding national home care group or franchise network: Home Instead has carried out several marketing campaigns recently, highlighting key issues affecting older people and their families.

As Home Instead franchisees continue to make a positive difference in their local communities, five of the company’s offices have also been shortlisted for various awards:

  • Home Instead Cleveland: live-in care expertise, best franchise within a group or network and sustainability initiative.
  • Home Instead Durham: team support expertise.
  • Home Instead Exeter and East Devon: live-in care expertise.
  • Home Instead Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe: recruitment, retention and staff motivation expertise.
  • Home Instead Leigh: most outstanding regional home care group or franchise network.

The home care company is on a winning streak, having won three awards in last year’s Home Care Awards and being ‘highly commended’ in another.

Martin Jones MBE, CEO of Home Instead UK and International, says: “What an honour to see Home Instead shortlisted nine times! I’m so proud to see some of our franchise teams across the country recognised; I know how hard they work as they make quality care available in their local community.

“It’s so important that we have opportunities like this to celebrate what the home care sector has achieved, from the hardworking care professionals to the brands innovating as they support an ageing population. I’d also like to congratulate other members of the home care sector who have been shortlisted. I look forward to celebrating with you all.”

The ceremony will take place at the National Conference Centre in Solihull on 7th March.
