Last night Home Instead was named winner of the Leadership and Culture award at the bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards. The awards take place as part of the British Franchise Association (bfa) annual conference.
This award celebrates a commitment to caring for the development, wellbeing and success of everyone within the organisation including the teams at Home Instead’s 245+ local franchise offices.
‘Expanding the world’s capacity to care’ is our mission and informs every aspect of our business and the care that we provide. We believe that our culture is key to the success of Home Instead, as is strong leadership.
It’s fantastic to receive external recognition for this.
When we were named as finalists, Pip Wilkins, CEO of the British Franchising Association, said: “This category has been particularly sought after in the past few years.
“As with any business the real test on leadership and culture comes during the toughest times and I think it’s fair to say we have had a fair few of those in recent years.
“Huge congratulations to Home Instead and fellow finalists in a category that are really shining examples of what should be done to achieve change together and remain united in its goals and objectives.”
Kudos also to our franchisee, Suhail Rehman who was a finalist in the HSBC Best in Class Multi-Unit Leader category.
