A week later, on Sunday, 21st July, the warm evenings of Victoria Park will come alive with the sounds of Ilkeston’s own brass band. Capping off our summer events, on Saturday, 31st August, we extend an invitation to an evening of musical prowess and cultural flair at Ilkeston’s iconic Scala Cinema. They will be live-streaming the sold-out Maastricht concert by Andre Rieu from his 2024 ‘Power of Love’ tour. Where better to enjoy an evening of music & culture than in one of the last remaining single screen cinemas in the country from the Edwardian era.
