Having the same Care Professional for personal care makes a real difference. They get to know exactly how you like things done – whether that’s how you like to shower, the way you like tea in the morning, or your morning routine. We take note of all these small but important details. Our longer visits mean we never have to rush – there’s time to make sure you’re comfortable and feeling your best. Many clients tell us that what started as a daunting prospect soon feels much more comfortable once they’ve built trust with their regular Care Professional.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

One family member shared on homecare.co.uk how our team provides “personal care with sensitivity and understanding,” while another noted how their Care Professional “became part of the family.” These relationships matter because personal care needs that extra level of trust and familiarity. When clients tell us they feel respected and at ease with their Care Professional, we know our approach is working.

We understand that it can be difficult accepting personal care and that is why you will be introduced to your Care Professionals and they will spend time getting to know you before assisting you with your personal care.
At Home Instead we ensure that each client has a small team of Care Professionals in place to provide you with care so you can be confident that you will have continuity from the same Care Professionals.
At Home Instead, we have a robust approach to ensuring that all Care Professionals have regular observations of practice that we call Support Visits, and assessments of competency for key activities such as handling medication or providing catheter care.
