Our unhurried visits mean there’s time to do things at your pace, whether that’s choosing comfortable clothes for the day or taking extra care with personal grooming. We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

Directors Liam and Pauline McKitterick ensure every Care Professional receives specialist training in supporting personal care needs with dignity and respect. Care Manager Victoria personally oversees care arrangements, while Field Supervisor Micheala and Support Coordinator Alison maintain close contact with families. Our comprehensive training covers everything from supporting mobility and personal hygiene to understanding health conditions and maintaining dignity during personal care.

At Home Instead, we have a robust approach to ensuring that all Care Professionals have regular observations of practice that we call Support Visits, and assessments of competency for key activities such as handling medication or providing catheter care.
