Our Companionship Care brings genuine friendship and support to people across Ipswich, Felixstowe and Woodbridge. As a CQC-regulated and Outstanding-rated provider – an achievement earned by less than 5% of home care companies – quality is at the heart of what we do. Unlike typical 20-minute care visits common in Suffolk, we spend at least an hour with each client. Our Care Professionals don’t wear uniforms – they’re more like trusted friends who happen to be professionally trained. This family-like approach, combined with our top-rated client satisfaction score on homecare.co.uk, shows how our focus on building genuine relationships makes a real difference.

Good companionship starts with the right match. We take time to understand our client’s interests, backgrounds and personalities, carefully pairing them with Care Professionals who share similar interests. This might mean matching a keen gardener with someone who knows their perennials from their annuals or finding a Care Professional who shares a love of baking or classical music. As a 5-star employer rated by WorkBuzz, we attract and retain Care Professionals who are dedicated to us and the families they support.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

Our Care Professionals come from all walks of life, with many choosing a career in care after successful careers in other fields. This brings a wealth of life experience to our team – from former teachers and nurses to business professionals who want to give back to their community. As both a Living Wage and Age-Friendly employer, we value this diversity of experience. Every team member completes comprehensive training, including City & Guilds assured courses in dementia. Being directly employed and DBS checked, our Care Professionals provide families with complete peace of mind about the quality of care their loved ones receive.
Our companionship service extends beyond home visits through our community initiatives. Care Professionals often accompany clients to our Memory Lane groups, where engaging activities and music sessions create natural opportunities for socialising. Whether it’s joining the friendly gatherings at Trimley St Martin Memorial Hall, our dementia friendly golf sessions in partnership with Seckford Golf Club, or enjoying the welcoming atmosphere of our dementia café at The Cherry Tree Inn in Woodbridge, these social connections can support well-being in our clients’ lives.
