Celebrating Nature and Community: Knowsley Flower Show Turns 26!
Get ready to immerse yourself in a blooming extravaganza as the Knowsley Flower Show marks its 26th birthday this year!
Set in the picturesque Court Hey Park in Huyton, this beloved event promises a day filled with floral delights, entertainment, and community spirit. Best of all, admission to the show is completely free, offering everyone the opportunity to experience the beauty of nature.
But that’s not all – 2024 holds special significance for Knowsley as it celebrates 50 years since its start as a borough in 1974. To honour this milestone, the theme of this year’s flower show will be a reflection of both celebrations.
On Sunday, 4th August, from 11am to 5pm, Court Hey Park will come alive with the colours and fragrances of magnificent floral displays. With more than 15,000 visitors flocking to the park in 2023, this year’s event promises to be even more spectacular. However, please note that there is a £5 cash car park fee to help support the upkeep of the park and ensure the smooth running of the event.
As you wander through the park, you’ll be immersed in live music performances and let’s not forget about the delicious food and drink on offer! Indulge your taste buds with tempting treats from local vendors, ranging from gourmet delicacies to hearty street food favourites.
But the fun doesn’t end there – there’s plenty to keep the little ones entertained too! From bubble workshops to circus skills, fairground rides, and attractions, there’s no shortage of excitement for kids of all ages.
