1. Outreach Opera’s Christmas Concert at Ashton Memorial
Dates: Saturday, 9th December 2024 (7pm) and Sunday, 10th December 2024 (3pm -5pm)
Location: Ashton Memorial, Williamson Park, Lancaster
Experience a magical evening (or afternoon) with Outreach Opera’s Christmas Concert. This beautiful performance includes popular opera arias and duets from composers like Puccini and Verdi, alongside traditional carols such as Silent Night.
Performed by sopranos Georgina Rosanna Crowe and Helen Latham, a brass ensemble, and pianist, the concert is held in the stunning candlelit setting of Ashton Memorial. Mince pies and mulled wine will be available for purchase. Seating is limited, so early booking is essential.
2. Victorian Christmas at Judges’ Lodgings
Date: Saturday, 7th and Sunday 8th December 2024
Location: Judges’ Lodgings, Lancaster
Step back in time to experience a Victorian Christmas with festive music and traditional displays. Judges’ Lodgings may have some accessibility limitations due to its historic nature, so it’s best to contact the venue for specific details. Nearby pay-and-display parking is available.
3. Christmas Artisan Markets at Brockholes Nature Reserve
Dates: 30th November to 1st December, 6th to 8th December, 13th to 15th December 2024
Location: Brockholes Nature Reserve, Preston
Browse unique crafts and gifts amidst the serene beauty of Brockholes Nature Reserve. The site is wheelchair-accessible, with disabled parking spaces close to the Visitor Village. No dogs allowed.
4. Christmas by Candelight at Lancaster Priory
Date: Saturday, 14th December 2024
Location: Lancaster Priory Church, Lancaster
Celebrate the season with a beautiful carol concert at the historic Lancaster Priory. The church has wheelchair access via a side entrance, and Blue Badge parking is available nearby.
5. Fleetwood Christmas Market

6. Garstang Victorian Christmas Festival

Immerse yourself in the festive charm of Garstang’s Victorian Christmas Festival, featuring street performances, food stalls, and a warm community atmosphere. The opening parade is at 6pm and parking is available at Booths.
7. Lancaster Grand Theatre Christmas Pantomime
Dates: Various dates in November December
Location: Lancaster Grand Theatre
Enjoy festive fun at the Lancaster Grand Theatre’s Christmas pantomime, a seasonal tradition for all ages. With an adult panto and a family panto on offer this year. The theatre is wheelchair-accessible and offers assistance for those with mobility concerns. Parking nearby is limited, so you might consider public transport or drop-off options.
