Home Instead Lancaster stands out because we see our role as more than ticking off tasks. Owner Sam’s team understands that keeping a home in order contributes greatly to an older adult’s independence and wellbeing. Each visit is a minimum of one hour, allowing us to go beyond the basics. From handling errands to organising groceries or making the bed, we offer families peace of mind knowing that their loved one is not only cared for but also enjoying a bit of company and a friendly conversation along the way. And with no uniforms, our Care Professionals feel more like family than formal carers.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

Our personalised approach to home help and housekeeping is built on a deep understanding of our clients’ lives. We come out to meet you, discuss specific needs, and create a tailored plan that covers both regular tasks and unique support. For instance, one of our clients appreciates his weekly help with household duties and the companionship he receives during these visits – he always looks forward to discussing his favourite spots in Williamson Park with his Care Professional. Whether it’s tidying up, preparing meals, or simply having a friendly face check in on wellbeing, our service is designed to adapt to the individual.
