Another year of goodie bags for the members of Age Concern.
For over 10 years we have been involved in the Be A Santa To A Senior event in Twyford. This started at a Christmas Tea Party for the members of Age Concern in Twyford. We used to host over 120 people with high tea, sing-a-longs and much more! It was always quite the party! However, since 2020, we have been gifting goodie bags instead. They are always gladly received and are given out during the Age Concern Christmas lunches – which are quite the social event too! So this year, we have packed up over 100 of our Christmas ‘Be A Santa To A Senior’ goodie bags for members of Age Concern. This is an initiative always kickstarts the festive season for us. The cards were expertly coloured by the children of Colleton School and the goodies put together by us at Home Instead, The David Brownlow Charitable Foundation, Twyford Together and RG10 Magazine. Packed with tea, jam, chocolates, biscuits, cake and a Christmas pudding, as well as our Home Instead activity books to keep the grey matter busy, we are sure these bags will be gratefully received.
