Why choose Home Instead Maidstone?

Support and training

We truly value our Care Professionals. That’s why we offer award-winning training to help you succeed. Whether you’re new to care or looking to enhance your skills, our training provides all the knowledge and tools you’ll need. But it’s more than just learning the technical side of care—it’s about building confidence, pride, and a sense of purpose in your work. Our dedicated trainers are here to support you every step of the way.

Building meaningful connections

At Home Instead Maidstone, we focus on quality, not rushing care. Our visits typically last 90 minutes, allowing us to take a more personal and relaxed approach. This extra time means you can build strong relationships with the clients you support. Many of our Care Professionals find that one of the most rewarding aspects of the job is listening to clients’ stories and offering companionship.

We prioritise relationship-based care, making sure both our clients and Care Professionals feel valued. You’ll not only assist with practical tasks but also share moments that truly enrich lives.

“Nip in & natters” – building connections within our team

We understand that while working out in the community, it’s important to stay connected, and we always update our news on our Facebook Page, and is why we’ve launched our “Nip in & natters” initiative. This is a regular time for our Care Professionals to gather at the office, chat over a good cuppa, and share stories. It’s the perfect way for everyone to get to know each other, talk about work, and build strong relationships within the team.

At our most recent get-together, we had a lovely time with Margaret, Simona, Fiona, Jo, Becca, Di, Amanda, Alana, and Angela. A special thanks to Alana for bringing in the most delicious cake! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at our next Nip in & Natter.
