Come along one month, and really enjoy a traditional pub lunch with other like minded and friendly people. Home Instead in Market Harborough, Oakham, Oadby & Corby host monthly Friendship Lunches in great settings, with a good menu selection in bright and welcoming surroundings. Loneliness as we age is a huge contributory factor in our wellbeing, and isolation can quickly become a habit, reducing our confidence and our mobility. We sit together, enjoy a freshly cooked meal as small or as hearty as you like. There’s usually a fun quiz and often a small raffle for a local charity. Easy parking, helpful staff and a lovely time to relax and chat. Home Instead friendship lunches take place every month in Market Harborough, Oakham, Oadby and Corby. Bring a friend or two, or come on your own – you will be made very welcome.
Sharing mealtimes is something we can look forward to, a chance to share stories, grumble and laugh. As we age we sometimes find things too much bother, and can neglect our social life. So many of the visitors to our Friendship Lunches say what a difference it has made, and that they really look forward to having a reason to get ready and being out and about in the community.
Friendship Lunches are hosted by Home Instead at a local pub. Delicious lunch and good company, plus a Home Instead quiz. 12 – 2:30 – please phone the event numbers below to book your place
