Personal care is about supporting you in the way that feels right for you – whether that’s help getting ready in the morning, assistance with bathing, or support preparing for bed. Your Care Professional will take time to understand your preferences and routines, ensuring support is provided with dignity and respect. We make sure visits are a minimum of one hour, giving time to do things at your pace without feeling rushed. As your needs change, we can easily adjust the support we provide, keeping you and your family updated through our care app.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

The feedback from our clients shows how much difference the right approach to personal care can make. As one daughter recently shared on homecare.co.uk: “Mum suffered a fall, we needed extra help to assist with making sure Mum was supported. The care staff were exceptionally kind, caring and attentive to our mum’s needs and requirements.” Our focus on building trusted relationships helps people feel more comfortable accepting the support they need.

At Home Instead, we have a robust approach to ensuring that all Care Professionals have regular observations of practice that we call Support Visits, and assessments of competency for key activities such as handling medication or providing catheter care.
