The Memory Cafes are a fabulous resource in Cornwall helping people living with Dementia and their families with advice but also activities, companionship tea, coffee and cake. Run by volunteers they are free although it can help to make a small donation. Each has a different approach and many people will go to several a month as they avoid overlapping times.
Every 1st and 3rd Monday 2- 4 pm
Cuddra Hall, Hombush, St Austell PL25 3JN
We enjoy a chat, have quizzes and games with discussion on various topics. The popular sing-along and musical memories are enjoyed by all, along
with a tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes made by members of St Austell Inner Wheel.
The informal, friendly atmosphere allows volunteers to offer empathy, understanding and a listening ear to those with memory loss along with their carers.
