The summer is nearly upon us and were bringing you the information on the family days in Newcastle coming up!

Summer Fun Days in Newcastle

This summer why not pop along to a family fun day where the whole family can enjoy a day out! Spend time with the family, and enjoy the sun that we will hopefully get in the summer. Here’s a few events we want to share with you:

St John’s Party in the Park – 29th June, 12.30pm to 4pm

St John’s at Kingston Park are holding a party in the park for the local community, held in the field next to Kingston Park Community Centre, Kingston Avenue, NE3 2HB.

Come along for face painting and crafts, local stalls, community groups and charities, good food and fair ground rides.

Scotswood Garden Summer Fun Day – 6th July, 11am to 3pm

A free event for all the family including a dragonfly trail, circus performances, pond dipping and a tombola held at Scotswood Community Garden, NE15 6TT. Gosforth’s Wild Web at Heaton Park – 18th July, 10.30am

If a busy family fun day isn’t your idea of fun, then give the Gosforth Wild Web tours a try. Trees in Summer is on the 18th, where you can join the group for guided tours around Heaton Park, NE6 5JS for free! The Group host many other guided walks to join in with based around nature.

Northumberlandia Summer Nature Celebration – 6th August, 10am

Take part in a host of activities celebrating outdoor fun and nature at Northumberlandia, Blagdon Lane, NE23 8AU. Test your knowledge of animal tracks and signs, bug hunting and den building. This is a fabulous opportunity to spend time with family.
