We recently headed to Chepstow Racecourse for the annual Chepstow Show
The show is hosted by Chepstow Agricultural Society and has been a regular feature of the local calendar since 1947. The Show has been held at a number of venues over the years including Broadwell Farm, Crick and Howick Farm, Itton before returning to its current location at Chepstow Racecourse in 2013.
The show had a full programme of events including livestock, dog shows, home craft, craft tent, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, vintage vehicles and lots of activities to keep all ages busy. It was a great family day out.
We had a bit of a drizzly start to the day (we were lucky enough to have a lovely spot inside!) but the weather soon picked up after lunch. There were plenty of refreshments available and lots of different foods to try in the food hall. Our team highly recommended the burgers!
We had the pleasure of interacting with adults and little one’s with bubbles and games to keep them occupied. We were able to chat about Home Instead Newport, Cwmbran and Chepstow the services that we are able to provide and our events. We have many clients in the Chepstow area so it was lovely to see some familiar faces.
We also met many people who were interested in the role of a Care Professional at Home Instead. We were able to discuss what being a Care Professional at Home Instead involves and how rewarding the position can be.
It was such a great day to be out and enjoy the community spirit.
