On Wednesday 7th February, Home Instead hosted their first Health & Wellbeing event in Conwy & Denbigshire, aimed at supporting older people to continue living well at home.
On Wednesday 7th February, Home Instead North Wales held their first ever Wellbeing Event at Colwyn Bay Cricket Club, Rhos on Sea.
Home Instead hosted 18 exhibitors ranging from charities, NHS service providers, professional organisations and community groups, all of whom are making a positive contribution to the lives of older people across Conwy & Denbighshire.
The idea behind the free event was to offer elderly residents and their families an accessible one-stop shop to gather information, talk to professionals and gain advice about what support and services are available and how they can be accessed.
The event also provided a fantastic networking opportunity for the service providers to network in person and gain valuable contacts within the health and community sector.
