Open to everyone, this event aims to provide essential knowledge and build connections to make a meaningful difference.
We warmly invite everyone—family members, friends, or anyone interested in learning more about dementia—to join us.

“Our goal is to support people with knowledge and understanding, so they feel confident supporting loved ones living with dementia,”* says Chris, Owner of Home Instead Norwich. “By coming together as a community, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.”
Our workshop, running from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, offers an interactive session filled with insights and practical advice for families, friends, and anyone keen to understand dementia better. The workshop will cover a range of practical topics to support those caring for people living with dementia, focusing on how to do so with confidence and dignity.
– Understanding the various stages of dementia.
– Learning how to navigate behavioural changes.
– Strategies for effective communication.
– Recognising signs and understanding symptoms.
– Providing support that enhances quality of life.
Recognising the signs, understanding the symptoms, and knowing how to provide support can make a significant difference in the quality of life for someone living with dementia, as well as offer relief and reassurance to their caregivers.
Spaces are intentionally limited to ensure a personal and engaging experience for our attendees. Join us for an educational and supportive experience during World Alzheimer’s Month, where together we can make a difference.
