The local dementia groups in Norwich can support carers and people living with dementia, in relaxed and informal settings.
This support group is held between 10:30am – 12:30pm on the last Friday of every month in the local Hellesdon library. There will be lots of conversation, crafts and refreshments for unpaid family carers of people living with dementia and those cared for. No need to book, just turn up! Hannah from our office team volunteers at this group every month and would be happy to talk about any care needs that you or your family member may have. Parking is free of charge with disabled access.

The dementia cafe offers support, advice and information to people living with dementia and their family and carers, with a cup of tea or coffee and a change to meet others who may be in a similar situation. This group runs on the third Thursday of every month 10am -12pm. The volunteers are always available for a chat and will offer you a very warm welcome. Parking is free of charge with disabled access.

There are activities, games, and a quiz. Or just enjoy a chat, laughter, and a cup of tea. They finish with a sing song of all the old musical favourites. This is held on the first Thursday of every month 10am – 12pm at The Salvation Army Church & Community Centre, Boundary Road in Norwich. Limited on site parking is available, but you can park on the road for free.

Memory Lane Café provides a dementia-friendly environment for people affected by dementia, other memory problems and isolation. There is always a varied programme of arts and crafts, singing, information and support and cakes and conversation. On site parking is available with disabled access.
