At Home Instead Norwich, we believe in the power of community and companionship, that’s why we’re thrilled to share the news of our expanding Companionship Cafes for older adults, with two new locations launching this Autumn!
Our cafes offer a warm and welcoming meeting space where you can join us every month for friendly company and to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some cake. Our aim is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for local residents, where everyone feels welcome and at ease, with a chance to chat with others, and with plenty of smiles to go around.
Find your local group and come along, the cafes are hosted by our friendly Home Instead team, you can come on your own or with a neighbour, relative or carer. We’ll always make you feel welcome!
As well as our regular cafe at St Williams Way Library in Thorpe St Andrew, we’re delighted to have two new locations launching this Autumn:

When: Third Thursday of every month, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

When:Second Friday of every month, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
Where: Wood View Road, Hellesdon, NR6 5QB
Our local Companionship Cafes are a welcoming space to have a cup of tea or coffee, and a place for local residents to get together, for conversation, laughter, and mutual support. We have light-hearted monthly quizzes, and you can enjoy the company of others in a relaxed environment. Whether you’re looking to make new friends or simply enjoy some time out of the house, our cafes provide the perfect opportunity!
