This guide is packed with activities and clubs available to enhance the social lives of our clients and community in Norwich. We want to help you stay active, involved, and connected throughout the year.
Accessing social opportunities can be challenging, especially for older adults that might feel isolated. Our WoW Guide for 2025 simplifies this by providing a detailed list of accessible and enjoyable activities.
Whether you’re interested in arts and crafts, fitness classes, or social clubs, our guide has something to offer.
– Come Singing at Norwich Millennium Library – Join fellow music enthusiasts on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month for a heartwarming session of singing and camaraderie.
– Knit Stitch and Natter – Gather for knitting and friendly conversation every Monday at Hellesdon Library. It’s a perfect spot for craft lovers.
– Board Games – Enjoy a social session of board games at Taverham every Saturday – have fun, make friends and keep your mind sharp!
– Parkinson’s Group Meetings – Held on the first Tuesday of every month at St. George’s Catholic Church Hall, these meetings offer support and fellowship for those affected by Parkinson’s disease.
And lots more!
The 2025 WoW guide features a range of dementia-friendly groups designed to support individuals living with dementia and their families.
With sessions in Cringleford, Hellesdon, Horsford, Thorpe and Mile Cross, these groups provide invaluable support for individuals with dementia, their families and carers, offering a place to meet others facing similar challenges and receive support.
No What’s On Where guide would be complete without a mention of Home Instead’s free Companionship Cafes! Join us for FREE in Hellesdon, Thorpe, Tavheram or Earlham, for tea/coffee and a lovely piece of cake, and make new friends in your local area!
