Home is where the heart is, but keeping it safe and comfortable can become a challenge as we age or manage chronic conditions. At Home Instead Norwich, our home help and housekeeping service makes day-to-day life easier and more manageable. From tidying up to checking the fridge, we help our clients to maintain both their homes and their independence. With 43% of adults in Norwich (Source: NorfolkInsight) not eating the recommended five portions of fruit and vegetables each day, we’re here to help with that too. It’s not just about keeping things neat, it’s about maximising health and making sure you or your loved one feels secure, supported, and at ease at home.

Our home help service is built on trust, warmth, and reliability. Our visits last at least an hour, giving us the time to do things properly – whether that’s putting away groceries, preparing a healthy meal, or getting some laundry done. With consistent Care Professionals who become familiar faces, we bring comfort and stability that families can rely on. Inadequate nutrition and hydration can cause falls which lead to hospitalisation and loss of independence. Our hydration champions and care planning experts can help prevent this. We also offer companionship and shopping support, because for many, it’s more than just the tasks, it’s about staying connected to the community and seeing a friendly face each week.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

We carefully match Care Professionals with clients to ensure a meaningful bond is created.

We can shop for you or support your loved one to continue to enjoy those trips to Waitrose at Eaton or Morrisons in Catton.
