Cwmpas Spooky Lantern Session
In October we joined the Cwmpas group held at the Age Connects Wellbeing café in Barry.
The group were given jars, crepe paper, glue and spooky motifs to create Halloween lanterns.
When they were completed, we popped battery operated tea lights inside and the effects were wonderful.
The benefits of this session were –
To boost sensory awareness
Build fine motor skills
Sharpen focus on planning
To reduce stress through expression
To encourage social connection
The accompanying chat and lovely refreshments on hand from the café made for a very enjoyable session.
