Home Instead provide high quality home care for older adults to keep them living safely and happily in their own homes. We care passionately about helping our clients to stay at home, connected to the people and surroundings that mean the most to them. We have been supporting people with tailored, highly personalised care in Penarth, Sully, Dinas Powys, Llandough, Barry, Rhoose, Cardiff Bay and surrounding areas since September 2009.
We take time to understand what matters most to each client and then carefully select a small team of care professionals who will quickly become valued companions and helpers. We call this relationship-centered care and it transforms our clients’ quality of life and provides their family much reassurance.

At Home Instead, we offer a wide range of services that can be anything from a few hours per week of companionship right the way through to live-in care and healthcare at home. Our service can include; companionship, home help and housekeeping, preparing a tasty meal, and helping someone to get washed and dressed for the day. We are highly experienced in supporting people living with dementia and neurological conditions including Parkinson’s.
Our service is flexible and can adapt to meet your requirements and preferences. We carefully train and support our care professionals and will ensure that you enjoy visits from the same people who will quickly become your trusted companions.
We will take time to learn what is important to you and then tailor your home care support to your exact requirements.
We will offer you continuity and consistency of the same regular care professionals, which allows relationships based on trust to develop. We can help you live as independently as possible and stay connected to your local community – we love taking clients out for a walk on Penarth Pier, or for a coffee at one of the cafes on Windsor Road, we can take you out and about and keep you doing the things that you enjoy.
We can also respond to changing care needs, for example offering additional support after a spell of illness or hospitalisation promoting your safety and recovery.
