This week we're introducing Bex, our Client Experience Manager
Welcome to the next issue of Who’s Who at Home Instead. This week we’re introducing our new Client Experience Manager, Bex. Bex joined us in July this year so is the newest member of our office team. She’s jumping in with both feet though and already making a huge difference to our clients and to our care pros.
Hi, my name is Bex and I am the Client Experience Manager for the Pocklington & Brough office. My job is to ensure the smooth running of our service, go out to meet clients for consultations to assess their needs, and match a Care Professional to assist them with their day-to-day support. I manage a small team who are fantastic and go the extra mile for the clients we care for. I really enjoy going out to visit our clients and my team to keep up to date with how they are all doing.
Before Home Instead I worked for the NHS as a senior administrator with a team of ten people to manage in the Gynaecology outpatients department.
Prior to that, I was the Registered Manager in a residential home in Hessle for over 10 years. In that role I worked alongside my carers to provide care and support for our 14 residents. I was also responsible for our CQC compliance, ensuring our home and the residents were safe and very well cared for.
To me it means that we take pride in the care we provide and ensure that we treat our clients and their families as we would take care of our own. We always strive to give exceptional service and I think that Home Instead really advocates for this.
As a manager I like to work closely with my team and our clients so they all feel well supported and they know I am available to assist in any way I can. I wouldn’t expect my team to do anything I wouldn’t do.
Outside of work I like to go out with my family. I have two children, Finlay 14 and Daisy 10 as well as my husband Ben and our Frenchie Molly. We like the outdoors and camping as well as a bit of sunshine too. We are a sporty family and are always out playing football, rounders, darts or netball along with cheering on the Hull City Tigers on a weekend.
We all like our music and try to get to concerts whenever we can. We usually like to make a weekend of it by staying over in the city and doing some touristy things too. This usually involves us spending a lot of money on merchandise the children want!
