Personal interests shape every visit – whether that’s enjoying hobbies at home, tending to the garden, or heading out to favourite local spots like Southsea seafront or Gunwharf Quays. Many of our Care Professionals can drive, making it easier to stay connected with the community. We understand that supporting someone with dementia means adapting activities thoughtfully, while for others, it might mean following specific rehabilitative exercises recommended by healthcare professionals. Each day is tailored to what brings joy and maintains independence.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Under our owner Helen’s leadership, we’ve brought together Care Professionals from diverse backgrounds and varied careers who share a natural compassion for helping others. Each team member receives comprehensive training, including our unique City & Guilds accredited dementia programme, ensuring they can support various needs – from engaging reminiscence activities to helping with mobility exercises. Our local management means we can adapt support quickly as needs change, working closely with physiotherapists and occupational therapists when needed.
