The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and kind Care Supervisor with a background of working in care to support our team of Care Professionals. The successful candidate will organise and prioritise their workload, have the ability to lead a team and become the person our care professionals’ approach for support.

The role will be a full-time position which will include a hybrid working pattern, part in our office in Belfast, and part working in the community supporting our clients and care professionals.

As a Care Supervisor you will be paid an hourly rate of £13.00 to £13.50 per hour. In addition to this you will be paid 45p per mile for travel and performance related bonuses.

Some duties will include:

  • Providing an excellent level of care to our clients in their homes (supporting with personal care, companionship, home help, medication support etc).
  • Completing regular support visits and care certificate observations with care professionals
  • Completing daily audits on clients and care professionals’ notes, identifying and reporting changes to management
  • Regularly complete ‘well-being’ checks with new staff to ensure they feel supported in their roles
  • Evidence and always promote best practice and become the person the care professionals’ approach for support

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience working in a domiciliary care setting
  • NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (or interested in working towards this qualification)
  • NISCC Registration(preferable)
  • Passion for delivering the highest quality care to our clients and helping them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
  • Must be confident to use care management technology including providing support and training to CAREGivers.
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems with experience of Microsoft Office and virtual communication platforms with the aptitude to learn and adopt new technologies and software where appropriate.
  • Must have full driving license and access to transport within the territory to visit clients.
  • Be organised and flexible to meet the needs of the business.
