The role of a Care Professional
We’re looking for Care Professionals who are kind and compassionate and are dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care understanding our values and mission. Providing continuity to both Client and Care Professional means you will see the same Clients every week, with minimum 1 hour visits enabling you to build a relationship and a routine in the comfort of their home focused around quality of life.

Home Instead Wetherby & North Leeds are an award winning team of over 100 Care Professionals with a supporting office team of 18, caring for clients across Wetherby to Garforth, North Leeds to Horsforth, and the surrounding areas.
We have a dedicated team of professionals on hand to support you from day one, throughout your journey with Home Instead. We equip you with outstanding training to ensure our clients are in the best hands, receiving incredible person-centred care they need to live well at home.
Whether you have 2 years experience in care, or none at all, we are recruiting dedicated and compassionate people to join our local team who are keen to make a real difference to the lives of others in our local area.
Would you pass our ‘Parent Test’? We’re looking for people to look after our wonderful clients the same way that they would look after an ageing parent or would want them to be looked after. To support this process, we carefully match our Care Professionals to our Clients based on interests and hobbies, and during our minimum one hour visit, they have the opportunity to build a good relationship and a strong bond with them.
All Care Professionals have access to the same award winning training and development opportunities, and we will support you every step of the way.

Full-time
We offer a variety of contracts to suit your availability and your needs:<br /> - 3 days a week from 8am til 2pm <br /> - 1 day per weekend Saturday or Sunday<br /> - 3 evenings per week.
Part-time
We offer part-time and full time positions, and if weekends or evenings work best we can make that happen.
Live-in
Live with your client and make life-long bonds whilst offering the support they need.

Do I need previous experience within the Care Sector?
Whether you are new to care entirely or have just never provided it in a professional capacity, we welcome people from all backgrounds and walks of life for their values, enthusiasm and empathy. Care experience is useful but not always necessary as we provide full training to ensure all our Care Professionals gain the skills to provide care confidently and competently and so they can be proud of the high quality care they deliver to our clients.
What training does Home Instead provide?
Our Care Professionals receive industry leading, award-winning training to give them the confidence, knowledge and skills to care for our clients. Fully paid training ranges from basic moving and handling, right through to our City & Guilds assured Dementia and End of Life training, and City & Guilds preferred provider Parkinsons courses.
We have additional opportunities to gain industry recognised qualifications such as Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care, and more!As a Care Pro at Home Instead you will be completely supported through a program of bespoke training and ongoing education, including opportunities to gain specialist knowledge, helping you to progress your career.
What types of homecare services does Home Instead offer?
We support our Clients with all aspects of their day to day living so they can flourish and remain independent in their own homes. The type of care we provide ranges through personal care, such as assisting with bathing, dressing and grooming, and home help involving preparing a nutritious meal and tidying the home, to companionship calls to chat and engage with Clients, or transport them to events or appointments if necessary.
