Welcome to Dawn, who is dedicated to delivering high quality, relevant training to Care Professionals, so that they feel confident, supported, and valued in their roles.
We’re thrilled to welcome Dawn to our team as HR Manager.
With a wealth of experience in both care and caregiver support, Dawn brings a deep passion for ensuring our team members feel valued, trained, and supported in their roles.
Dawn’s journey into the care sector wasn’t exactly predictable. Coming from a sales background, she was used to fast-paced, target-driven environments, but something was missing. Deep down, she had always been drawn to care but thought she was too squeamish for personal care. But that didn’t stop her.
Dawn took the leap 20 years ago, beginning as a carer with a home care provider, and she immediately loved the role.
Dawn then put together a full week-long induction programme and started training new caregivers herself. That experience sparked a passion for the HR side of care, ensuring Care Professionals were not only trained but felt confident, supported, and valued in their roles.
Before joining Home Instead Reigate & Tandridge, Dawn spent seven years with another Home Instead office. Her team’s focus was on supporting the Care Professionals, making sure training was in place, and providing ongoing supervision and mentorship to help the Care Professionals feel competent and empowered in their roles.
Dawn already had a connection with Greg Brown owner of Home Instead Reigate & Tandridge office. “We’ve always had a nice affiliation with this office,” she says. “We’ve done training events together, and when the opportunity came up to step in and support Greg it felt like the perfect fit.”
Dawn is excited to be part of the Home Instead Reigate & Tandridge journey and to help the team continue to grow and succeed. “This office has so much potential,” she says. “I just want to do my bit to support Greg and the team in making it the best it can be.”
Welcome to the team, Dawn! We’re so glad to have you on board.
