We do things differently at Home Instead. Our Care Professionals don’t wear uniforms, making trips to Priory Farm or local cafes feel natural – just like going out with a friend. We always ensure the same familiar faces at each visit, and with our hour-minimum visits, there’s always time for proper conversations and meaningful activities. This continuity and unhurried approach means we really get to know each person, building trust and understanding that helps us build strong relationships with each client we support.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

One son’s heartfelt letter captures how we make a difference: “Mum’s house and her garden were very important to her, and I am confident that it gave her an enormous amount of pleasure to be able to carry on living in her own home and to be able to look out of the window at the garden that she had tended for so many years.” Over five years of care, his mother came to consider all our caregivers as friends, and as he noted, “‘Home Instead’ is more than just a slogan; it really does have meaning for people like Mum.” Even her hospital consultant remarked on how well she had flourished under our care, staying strong far longer than expected – a testament to the power of personalised, consistent care.
