The Home Instead home care team, here to help the Salisbury community

We provide exceptional, warm-hearted home care for older adults in Salisbury. Our fantastic team of Care Professionals help their clients live safely and independently in the place they love best: their own home. Every client is unique, so we provide care that’s tailored to them, including offering dementia support, assisting with home help or personal care, or popping to the local Waitrose or Tesco for some shopping. We also offer companionship, whether that’s chatting over coffee, a trip to the market in the Guildhall Square, or attending an event at Salisbury’s breathtaking cathedral. Whatever they might be doing, our Care Pros are focused on the same thing: providing excellent care at home while putting a smile on their clients’ faces.

What Home Care Services are available in Salisbury

We offer a wide range of home care services in Salisbury, including assisting with housekeeping and meal preparation, providing medication support, helping with personal care, and offering companionship. We also provide support for older adults living with conditions such as dementia, as well as more specialist care such as catheter care. Some of our clients only have one or two visits a week, while others have two or three visits a day. We respond as flexibly as possible to our clients’ changing needs, whether that’s by putting additional visits in place or even by transitioning to live-in care, so that our clients can continue to live in the place they love best. We aim to get care up and running within two weeks of the initial enquiry.

Tailored Home Care in Salisbury

Although Salisbury can be a great place for an older adult to live, with its small size, vibrant cultural life, and pedestrian-friendly historic city centre, getting out and about may become more challenging with age and that’s where our wonderful Care Professionals can shine. Our Care Pro Jackie drives Mrs M to Sainsbury’s every Tuesday to do her weekly shop, while Kaz walks to M&S with Mrs H, having a good chat and laugh along the way. Attending groups or appointments can also be more demanding as you age, so our Care Pro Sandie will accompany Mrs F to her doctor’s appointments and to the local Alzheimer’s Society group. A familiar and reassuring face goes a long way to easing some of these challenges and perhaps even making them fun!
