As one of the UK's largest free to enter food festivals, this 3 day event brings together the best of talent and produce.
Local heroes and celebrity chefs from across the county will be offering unmissable live cooking demonstrations, and there will be two live music stages delivering an eclectic line-up ensuring there’s something for everyone.
Events across the weekend include cook-along sessions, where you can learn from the professionals! From preparing meals to coffee tasting or cocktail making there will be something everyone can enjoy.
There will also be competitions including the Mr Dabber Town Trail that will run over the festival weekend. Trail leaflets can be collected from the kid’s marquee in Love Lane of from the information point in town, and a lemon drizzle cake competition which you can enter via email at [email protected]. This competition is limited to 12 entries, so hurry as not to miss out!
New for this year are walking tours with Nantwich Museum. Find out about the food history of Nantwich with a guided walking tour starting at the Nantwich Museum and including food and drink tasting. Led by festival volunteers and an expert from the museum, you will get a potted history of Nantwich’s ancient links to the cheese and salt making industries, and its importance as a market town alongside snippets of town heritage. The tour will include visits to Nantwich Museum on Pillory Street, The Cheese Shop on Hospital Street, Nantwich Market on Market Street and The Black Lion on Welsh Row. As well as all of these wonderful events and excellent entertainment, there will be plenty of exhibitors to look around and explore, including ourselves. We will be there to chat and offer advice and guidance on all things Care, and how we can support our local community.
