In Cumbria, nearly 2000 people are diagnosed with Dementia each year, and this number is set to rise. The Alzheimer’s Society, through the Dementia Action Week are raising awareness of Dementia and helping people get a diagnosis. Getting a diagnosis can help those living with Dementia find the right support.
