Congratulations to our Care Professional of the Year 2024 – Debbie!

Debbie’s journey into care began with inspiration from her childhood friend, Louise, our 2023 Care Professional of the Year. Debbie shared:
"I could see how passionate Louise was about Home Instead and the caring role she was in. So in October 2022, I decided on a new career and took the plunge by contacting Kayleigh. I haven’t looked back since. It’s been an amazing journey, and I have met many lovely clients and work colleagues… What an amazing year it has been."

Debbie’s commitment and creativity shine through in her work. This year, she was introduced to a new client with a rich musical background and a music room at home. Debbie encouraged her client to reconnect with their passion for music by suggesting the idea of "Saturday Night Jam Nights," where she even offered to play the guitar herself.

Debbie also went above and beyond for a client’s birthday by painting a beautiful portrait of their beloved dog, gifting them something truly special and personal.

Her teammates describe Debbie as friendly, bubbly, and incredibly supportive. She’s known for her positivity and teamwork, making her a valued member of the Home Instead family.
