Our approach is about doing things with our clients, not just for them. Whether it’s baking together, topping up the bird feeder in the garden, or enjoying a relaxed walk around Hagley Park, we focus on activities that bring joy and maintain independence. We carefully match clients with Care Professionals who share similar interests and personalities, creating natural friendships. One of our clients’ daughters shared on homecare.co.uk: “Mum enjoys and definitely benefits from having visits from the different girls in her team. It’s a pleasure to hear Mum chatting about her visits and she enjoys hearing about their lives and experiences and sharing her life stories with a new audience.” This is exactly what companionship care should be – genuine connections that brighten each day.

Our Care Professionals bring fascinating life experiences to their roles and many have been with us for years – some over a decade. They’re all fully employed and carefully vetted, with comprehensive training that includes spotting early signs if something’s not quite right. Director Lorna Bath’s nursing background means we understand how important these small observations can be, and our office team, led by Operations Manager Jenna Bemrose and Care Manager Trica Owen, is always there to support both clients and Care Professionals.
You’ll often find us out and about in the community, running our popular Scam awareness, Dementia awareness and Young at Heart singing sessions or hosting Dementia Friends events. We’ve dedicated an area of our office as a caring library, filled with helpful resources for families about supporting loved ones. When our Care Professionals go above and beyond, which happens often, we celebrate them with our GEM (Going the Extra Mile) awards and recognition for their years of service. It’s this commitment to both our team and community that helps us provide such personal, reliable care.
