Our overnight care is completely flexible to what works best for you. For some, it’s the reassurance of having someone sleeping in the house, ready to help if needed. For others, we provide waking night care for more regular support, such as help with medication or mobility. We take time to understand each person’s routines and preferences – from their preferred bedtime routine to how they like to start their day, ensuring comfortable, unrushed support that helps maintain independence at home.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Our locally managed service means our office team is always available to support both clients and Care Professionals. Director Lorna Bath’s nursing background helps us understand complex health needs, while Operations Manager Jenna Bemrose and Care Manager Trica Owen ensure our team receives specialist training in night-time care, mobility support, and managing conditions like dementia. Many of our Care Professionals have been with us for years, bringing valuable experience to every overnight visit.
Our community involvement goes beyond care services – you’ll often find our team running Scam awareness, Dementia awareness and the popular Young at Heart singing sessions, which bring such joy to everyone involved. We are regular faces at the Halesowen Carnival with our information stall, and we host bake sales at Hagley Free Church to support dementia research. We’ve recently enhanced our training facilities to include a replica client bedroom, helping ensure our Care Professionals are well-prepared for overnight support. We really look after our team – some have been with us for over a decade, and we celebrate their dedication through our summer and Christmas parties, as well as recognising going the extra mile through our staff ‘GEM’ (Going the Extra Mile) awards.
