Home Instead Sutton Coldfield are launching a Be A Santa Campaign, an exciting festive-themed campaign to support older people this Christmas.
The Be A Santa Campaign is a gift-giving scheme in which one can positively impact the lives of older people in the community and it’s also a fantastic way of spreading festive cheer.
Home Instead Sutton Coldfield, which provides quality relationship-led care to older adults, are working with Age UK Birmingham and Good Hope Hospital as part of the campaign and asks local residents to donate small gifts, including puzzle books, scarves, gloves, biscuits and chocolates, which will be distributed to older people in the area. A personalised Christmas Gift Box will also be delivered to local people in the community who are spending Christmas alone.
Aman Gill, owner of Home Instead Sutton Coldfield, said: “It’s a wonderful time of the year to give back to your local community, which is exactly what our campaign is encouraging local residents to do. The past year has been challenging not least due to the cost-of-living crisis and economic uncertainty, and many older and vulnerable people have been hit hard. We have been lucky enough to continue caring for our elderly clients throughout this difficult period, ensuring they receive companionship and expert care, reducing isolation, loneliness and helping to prevent falls.”
