Our approach feels different. Visits are never less than an hour, creating space for genuine friendships to develop. Care Professionals don’t wear uniforms, making trips to a café or garden centre feels more like visiting with a friend. We gently encourage and support people to stay active and engaged – whether that’s enjoying lunch at a local garden centre or tending to the garden together. This thoughtful support helps maintain independence while giving families confidence that someone’s keeping a watchful eye.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

Our clients and their families notice the difference thoughtful companionship brings. As one daughter wrote on homecare.co.uk: “Arrangements for home care were carried out quickly and professionally and led to reliable, friendly and welcoming companionship for my wife. Of note, [Home Instead] invited us to Coronation coffee morning, which coincided with my wife’s birthday, an added bonus.” Feedback like this shows that our genuine, consistent support can inject happiness and friendship into our clients’ lives.

Quality care starts with understanding what makes each person unique – that’s why Jason and Jenny Warren established Home Instead Newport, with a focus on taking time to do things properly. We carefully select Care Professionals who share our commitment to genuine, unhurried support. Each receives thorough training at our Newport office in both professional skills and the signs when someone might need extra help. This dedicated approach means care can adapt naturally as needs change, while helping each client maintain their independence that means so much.
Our Memory Café at Waitrose brings people together monthly for friendship and connection. Regular well-being events at Festival Drayton Centre help introduce clients to local groups they might enjoy.
