This year's Summer Ball, hosted at the stunning Rogerthorpe Manor in Badsworth, was nothing short of spectacular!

This year’s Summer Ball, jointly hosted by Home Instead Doncaster & Home Instead Wakefield at the stunning Rogerthorpe Manor in Badsworth, was nothing short of spectacular! With 128 attendees, including distinguished guests such as the Deputy Mayor of Wakefield and the Civic Mayor of Doncaster, the evening was filled with joy, elegance, and a sense of community.

At Home Instead, we are dedicated to giving back to the community through exciting one-off events like the Summer Ball and regular gatherings such as our Friendship Lunches which run once a week every month. These events foster connection and joy, enriching the lives of our elderly clients and the wider community.

One of the highlights of the night was the Vulcan Photo Booth, which delighted guests of all ages. We were particularly impressed with their thoughtful adaptations to ensure the booth was accessible and enjoyable for our elderly guests, including those in wheelchairs.

The venue itself was outstanding, offering fantastic service and delectable food that left everyone thoroughly satisfied. The right ambiance was perfectly complemented by the wonderful entertainment provided by the talented singers AJ and Damion, who kept the energy high and the dance floor bustling.

One attendee captured the essence of the evening perfectly, saying, “I would just like to say what a fantastic day we had at the Summer Ball. A big thank you to Donna & Lee for organising it. It was perfect & very well organised. It was so nice to have somewhere to go that you could dress up for. Well done & will look forward to hopefully many more occasions like this.”
