Additionally, the centre features a charming café, so a tasty treat is not far away!
Open throughout the week, Squires Garden Centre welcomes visitors from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm on Mondays to Saturdays, and from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm on Sundays. There is free parking, free Wi-Fi and wheelchair access. At this centre, canine companions are also welcome, and can enjoy a bite to eat in the outdoor café too! Another lovely place to visit is Harrow Garden Centre. It is a great destination if you’re a gardening enthusiast or a nature admirer! Situated in the lush greenery of Harrow, this garden centre offers a diverse selection of plants and gardening essentials, catering to individuals in search of a peaceful retreat. Once a war-time nursery and trading as a garden centre in the early 70s, it is a plant and gardening focused centre boasting expert staff that are happy to help! Along with the many plants that your ageing adult can see, outdoor furniture, lighting, barbecues and a wide range of other items are also available.
The garden centre is open from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Mondays to Saturdays, and from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm on Sundays. You can find Harrow Garden Centre on Headstone Ln, Harrow HA2 6NB and it is dog friendly and offers free parking. And if you’re feeling in need of a cuppa or a tasty treat, there’s the delightfully named Coffee Haven Restaurant that looks forward to welcoming you!
Birchen Grove Garden Centre lies just north of Brent Reservoir, and there’s yet again a lot to be seen and enjoyed. As Greater London’s largest garden centre, it offers a diverse array of plants and stocks a vast range of garden furniture and tools, wildlife food and outdoor lighting. Whether you are a keen gardener or just starting out, why not come down and have an explore!
The garden centre is open from 9:00am to 5:30pm on Mondays to Saturdays and from 11:00am to 5:00pm on Sundays. Amidst woodlands and merely a ten-minute drive from Wembley Stadium, this pet-friendly venue welcomes canine companions. You can find the garden centre on Birchen Grove, London. With plenty free parking for 250 cars, you can unwind, enjoy the greenery, and, yes, you can also enjoy a break with something to drink and nibble at the café on the site!
Plantation Garden Centre can be found north of Wembley on Kenton Rd, London. Established in 1981 as a nursery supplying plants to other garden centres, it has developed over the last three decades to become London’s largest garden centre! Specialising in garden plants, equipment and furniture, their experienced staff are available to provide suggestions on the best bushes, trees and plants for your gardening needs.
With a vast selection of flowers, plants, vegetable and flower seeds to browse, it is a great place to enjoy a day spent with your older loved one. It is open from 9.00am – 5.00pm Mondays to Saturdays and from 10.00am – 4.00pm Sundays. There is wheelchair access to enter the garden centre and offers free parking.
Another lovely garden centre to visit with your ageing adult is Carpenders. With a great range of plants, flowers and garden furniture, there is lots to see! If you and your loved one would also enjoy a hot drink or bite to eat whilst exploring, The Evergreen Restaurant is open from 9.00am – 4.30pm Mondays to Saturdays and from 10.00am – 3.30pm on Sundays. Here you can enjoy your favourite homemade cakes, barista coffees and seasonal specials! You can also book online for their amazing afternoon tea!
You can find the garden centre on Little Oxhey Ln. It is wheelchair accessible and open from 9.00am – 5.30pm Mondays to Saturdays and from 10:00am – 4.00pm on Sundays.
Florescenza offers a large range of beautiful plants and expert garden design services. Their plants and greenery are sourced from reputable growers, and they also provide vibrant flowers, guaranteed to brighten up your day! Nestled within the garden centre is their charming coffee shop, offering tasty treats and hot drinks. Their dedicated team of skilled architects is on hand to offer their expert advice and willing to help with every aspect of your garden.
