Brent Knoll is a large hill that stands isolated in the village of the same name.You can walk all around the top of the knoll, where you can see the grassy remains of the Iron Age hill fort, Ordinance Survey and Queens Golden Jubilee markers. Start your walk at St. Michael’s Parish Church on the wooded lower slopes of the Knoll. A steep incline to the top of the hill you will have great panoramic views in all directions.

Ralph’s Wood is a beautiful and tranquil private woodland which is open for the public to enjoy. It is a relatively young area of woodland which was planted by Ralph and his father Mac in 1999. Sadly, Ralph died in Canada, aged only 48, so the woodland is now dedicated to the memory of him. The family still allows the public to access to the woodland. There are accessible footpaths to wander along and is the perfect spot for dog walking.
A beautifully restored and preserved windmill with gorgeous views over the Somerset countryside. Standing in picturesque, grassy surrounds with a picnic table. Ashton Windmill is a wonderful sightseeing point. There are no facilities other than a small car park.
