Health Care Information Day 2024

Our annual event was a hit with the local community and businesses that attended!

On Friday 14th June we held our annual Health Care Information Day event!

The day was well attended, we had 21 out of the 24 companies we booked come along and exhibit their services.  (You can find a full list of the companies at the end of this article.) The Mayor of Weston also came to see what it was all about and Mike, our Managing Director, gave him a guided tour.

We enjoyed meeting and greeting everyone that came in the door and directing them to what they were looking for, or just showing them which way to start their browsing journey! We talked to a lot of visitors and even gained some new Clients from the event! There was a good atmosphere and buzz in the air and feedback was hugely positive.

The event was full of informative people and demonstrations of services. For example, the Discharge to Assess (D2A) team gave visitors a demonstration of their amazing Raizer chair, which is used to help people off the floor when they have fallen at home. Another interesting practical element was Accure Healthcare, who were administering cholesterol and diabetes tests with a finger prick blood sample, then offering health advice based on the results. They also offered blood pressure checks too.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the companies who attended the event and support us year after year. And thank you to the Mayor of Weston for coming along, and of course, all the members of the community that attended too. We hope the event was useful for everyone!
