Cath Hale, General Manager of Home Instead Wetherby, North Leeds and Horsforth said, ‘I am excited to bring the Training2Care Virtual Dementia Tour bus to Yorkshire and have plans in place to replicate the Wetherby event in other areas of Leeds as it’s our organisations top priority.
‘We know first-hand that many of our clients and members of the community are faced with the tough reality of living with dementia daily. As care professionals, we are passionate about helping to equip those supporting anyone living with dementia with an understanding of how the disease can impact day to day life, and what better way to do so than by facilitating a session that uses advanced technology to create an immersive and interactive experience.’
