We’re proud to offer our clients flexible care options that we adapt as their needs change. Did you know that alongside our daily care visits, we also provide Live-In Care?
At Home Instead Wetherby, North Leeds, and Horsforth, we believe growing older should mean retaining dignity, comfort, and choice. We’re proud to offer our clients flexible care options that we will adapt as their needs change. Did you know that alongside our daily care visits, we also provide a personalised live-in care service?
Live-in care offers an excellent alternative to residential care, allowing our clients to stay in the familiar surroundings of their own home for longer. For many families in our community, this service has become an invaluable support, enabling loved ones to receive high-quality care while staying connected to the places and people they cherish.
Peace of Mind
For many of our clients, the transition from having daily care visits to a live-in carer is incredibly smooth. Many of our Live-in clients already had companionship visits from us and have wonderful relationships with their Care Professionals and the wider Home Instead family. Often, Live-in care is considered by our clients and their families after a fall or when their loved one is showing the signs and symptoms of dementia. Clare, one of our Live-In Care Professionals shared with us, ‘Often, our clients are used to a Care Professional being in their homes already because of our companionship visits. Home Instead has a relationship with the family, and so the trust is there. Family members can carry on being family members, and not carers. We bring them that peace of mind that their loved one is safe.”
Breaking Down the Costs
Many people assume that in-home care must be significantly more expensive. However, Live-in care is comparable in cost to residential care, with the added advantage of personalised, one-on-one attention. Staying at home allows for flexibility and control over the care schedule and environment, which can be particularly reassuring for clients and their families. Also, if you or your loved ones are in a couple they can have one carer which is incredibly cost-efficient.
Our Expert Team
We are very fortunate at Home Instead to have a team of incredibly compassionate, practical and kind Live-In Care Professionals. One of the team, Suzanne shared with us, “I am proud of the passion and commitment of our live in care professionals and the wider team which enables clients to have the choice to be cared for in their own homes.”
Here is what our expert team can offer:
– Help with getting in and out of bed

Invariably, we offer so much more than that every day. We are a listening ear and will engage our clients in meaningful conversations. We will use our skills to support our clients to reconnect with themselves through reminiscence activities and forge genuine connections.
Don’t Just Take our Word For it…
At Home Instead, we offer personalised care which is completely tailored to each of our client’s unique needs and personality. We pride ourselves on providing excellent care, but don’t just take our word for it! Here is what some of our client’s families have to say…
“Mum and Dad have been receiving live-in care for almost 2 years now. There are so many benefits from keeping them both together and in a familiar environment.
We have worked together to provide a bespoke program particularly tailored to my parents’ needs and if there is anything I am worried about I feel totally supported by the team. Each carer brings a new perspective but Home Instead endeavour to keep familiar carers on a rotation so my parents recognise a friendly face!”
With Home Instead’s live-in care services, families in Wetherby, North Leeds, and Horsforth can rest assured that their loved ones are in compassionate, professional hands—allowing families to focus on quality time together. Because, for us, it’s personal.
